Course Description:
This course is designed for those who already have a good understanding of the english language and desire extra support when preparing for the TOEFL iBT exam. This course is ideal for professionals and students looking to improve their final examination scores or improve their chances of passing.
What is Augmented Self Study?
The manual included for this course will provide the student with the required materials in a self study format. As with any self study program students are free to work through this training at their preferred pace. Students will benefit from an experienced ESL instructor twice a week through an ongoing virtual classroom experience. Lessons will mirror the course manual and will foster a deeper understanding of the course materials. Our instructors are familiar with the TOEFL methodology and have experience in preparing students for the challenges they will face in the TOEFL iBT.
Even though this is a self study course students will have the unique opportunity to interact with other students and their instructor in a moderated online community. The student can focus on independent study or interact in group setting as befits their personal style. Communication with others who are sharing a common experience widens the breadth of learning and increases retention.
